Wii HD Would be Launched in 2011

Nintendo Wii is also set to follow the HD trend, which is dominating the current gaming console market, by launching its first ever Wii HD (Probably with a 720p Output for starters) by the year 2011.
This console is believed to be a truly next generation console with great Hardware Potential (Great for playing “Nintendo” Games) and could be truly declared as next generation gaming console. According to few critics, this transition is similar to moving from Game Boy to Game Boy Advance. It would support all the previous titles, which means that it would be backward compatible.
Rumor has it that the company’s prototype for the next generation console is already out under alpha version to be tested by several labs.
The next-gen Wii will offer the same capabilities as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and will feature a brand new motion controller too, something which is expected to be better than 6-axis and current Wii Remote.
