The rumor has it that twitter might launch its video service soon in the near future. Though several companies like Twideo and Tweetube are already providing the service of sharing videos with your followers, but they haven’t gained much popularity.

Twitter is rumored to start the same service, which would support pics and videos simultaneously. The service for sharing pics on Twitter, twitpic, has been magnificently successful and its about time that twitter will include such services for their users; but adding videos doesn’t make quite a sense. Would they be declaring a time limit on the length of videos? Won’t be a good idea I think.

The basic concept behind this whole story is to enable the user to record small videos of their tweet, using their webcam or mobile camera, and then upload it on twitter.
