For all those new to the name, sn0wbreeze lets you create a custom firmware which you can then restore to your iDevice to jailbreak it.

The current release promises to work for the following devices:

• iPhone 3G
• iPhone 3GS (older bootrom, the newer can only be jailbroken via a spirit jailbreak)
• iPod Touch 2G

Sn0wbreeze v1.6 supports full hacktivation of the iPhone and enables factory locked features such as background wallpapers, battery percentage and full multitasking to the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. Furthermore, it also supports IPSW-NOR creation and changing the Root partition size of your iDevice.
