SkyFire App to Bring Flash Videos on Your iPhone

The developers behind the application SkyFire want to pursue the idea that Flash is essential for the iPhone. Although their are many hacks available on how to run Flash on iPhone, but none is supported by Apple. This one might get lucky.

The idea behind SkyFire app is pretty simple. Wherever there is Flash content, download it, convert it to HTML 5 format and then display it on their iOS device. The idea though sounds quite simple and useful but there are no final words on when the application would be released or what is the current progress.

Even though some companies and developers are trying quite hard to make Flash available for iPhone and iPad, most of the users (including me) really don’t miss it. We are infact great without it as it helps to avoid all that hefty downloading time and slow response from our device. I have used Flash on my jailbroken iPhone and I must say that it wasn’t very impressive.

Watch the video below for the demonstration of SkyFire:

Lets see if this app passes Apple’s app store approval and make its way to the market. We will keep you updated on this story.
