The announced iPhone 4 by Apple was supposed to be available in 2 two colors in the market, but the white one seems nowhere to be found. The black iPhone 4 is though easily available, even after the whole iPhone 4 pre-order fiasco.

Apple has announced in their official statement that they will start shipping the white iPhone 4 after the mid of July, since the manufacturers are facing some troubles in providing it. The demand for the iPhone 4G has surprisingly increased more than what was expected, as more than 600,000 thousand iPhone 4 were sold on the first day of launch.

In a statement, Apple assures that the shipment of black iPhone 4 would not be affected by this and would continue as scheduled. In their statement they say,

White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
