NetFlix, Zynga, Activision coming to the iPhone this summer
Next up, some iPhone warm-up pitches, like the fact that Netflix is finally headed to the iPhone, in an app exclusively optimized for the device, rather than a rehashed iPad version.

This one will have the usual Netflix features, the fact that it’s a free app, and playback retrieval from last spot, as with the iPad app. The new list of features, as explained by Netflix’s Reed Hastings includes;
- A new UI optimized for the iPhone platform
- App-optimized search of your instant view queue
- “seamless” switching between 3G and WiFi
- 3G streaming support.

Another big gun to join the Apple appsphere is the social networking app giant zynga, coming to the iPhone this summer with its popular Farmville app. Expect more apps from these folks in the coming months.

Karthik Bala also sashayed out onto the stage to show his new and improved Guitar Hero app, that apparently now also includes strumming support!

You can check it out for yourself for $2.99 on the iTunes appstore. Some new classic rock tunes by Queen and the Rolling Stones are also included.
head on over here for other recent WWDC posts.
