MMS for iPhone has been finally Launched by AT&T and is now live. Below is a small and brief guide about how to enable MMS on your iPhone and use it.

How to Enable MMS on iPhone?

First, you’ll need to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes, which is iTunes 9. Connect your iPhone to it (I’m assuming your iPhone is not Jailbroken, because it would need to update its carrier to 5.5 which could not happen in that case. Wait for a few more days for the solution from dev-team, or Install Swirly MMS from Cydia.).

Following message would appear. Choose “Update Settings”.

After this, your iTunes will update the carrier version of AT&T to 5.5. You can see it in Settings > General > About. Start your iPhone and the MMS service would be enabled.

Please note that MMS service is available on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS only!
