[Juice Defender] How to Save Battery of Your Android Phone

The biggest problem with any smart phone is their low battery life. No matter how feature rich your cell phone is, its limited battery life could prove to be a big problem in some situations. Several apps for different platform are available for download which could save the battery life of your phone by turning off some unnecessary features and programs which are consuming the power of your phone. A similar app is available for Android users.

The name of that application is JuiceDefender. What it does is that it lets us control our phone’s APN and WiFi. With the help of this app, you can set a timer on your Android device and when the timer expires, your device will check for notification, like New Email, tweets, etc. In this way, your cellphone would only use its Internet connection when your timer will expire, rest of the time it would remain disconnected from the Network to save power. This appears to be something which won’t help with the power saving much, but its impact on battery life is quite noticeable.

More features, related with the connectivity of the Android phone to the network are provided in its pro version, which can be downloaded for a price. It provides better management of APN/WiFi and has a better impact on the battery life of the phone.

How much could you make with this wp blog if you had thousands of product seeking visitors coming to it every day? What if you could do this without using search engine marketing, adwords, socials, article marketing or YouTube? I can gain thousands of buyers to my sites every day, not worrying about search engines at all. I use this cheap, targetted traffic to make at least $300 every day. If you are sick of spending a ton on ppc, seo bs, or other crazy ideas, you need to learn how to really cash in —> HERE.

I’ve tested juicedefender. With an unrooted phone the app worked quite well for me. Extended it about 2 to 4 hours with moderate use and much longer when the phone sits inactive as the data control is a huge battery saver.
With a rooted phone, the results are a bit different. I decided to time a 2 hour span first using the app and then disabling it. The two time frames were controlled to be exactly the same down to screen on time. The first 90 minutes (phone just sitting screen off) showed with it on the battery was at 95% while with the app off it was at 98%. I proceeded to Wi-Fi tether for 25 minutes and the results showed with JD enabled power was at 86%; while disabled power was at 91%. The phone was left to sit for another 15 minutes with no use and the screen off the final results were as follows:
    With JuiceDefender
    86%
    Without JuiceDefender
    91%
I hope this helps some people when deciding to buy this application.

    HTC Incredible
    UnRevoked root
    Redemption 2.2 ROM
Hydra Kernel Overclocked Undervolted 1.113GHz v1.0

The only issue is that if you do need your phone for your work, and you enable your APN or WIFI for (only an example) 2m every 15m, you don’t receive your messages accept for those 2m and it could delay important information or stop contact for a bit.

Shouldn’t be an issue on a personal device, but for business smartphones it could be a potential issue.

i thing it just destroying default management connection, it take control the application that need to connect to internet, and use it’s abnormal rule, the way of juice do is not the solution to solve the battery problem, that way every body can do it by them self , because all we want is stay connected and battery safer.  using switch from 3g to 2g network it take more effective because can still always connected
