iPhone 4 Reception Issues, Steve Jobs says ‘Stay Tuned’

Believe it or not but it seems like that engineers at Apple who worked on the design of iPhone 4 themselves don’t have the idea of what has gone wrong with the reception issue because if they had, Steve Jobs would definitely have something to tell those who are facing such issues. Apparently, Steve Jobs has got nothing on this major problem.

One of the iPhone 4 user Emailed Steve Jobs about this reception problem he is facing while attempting to make calls. Here’s what he said in his Email:

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that this is the most amazing phone I’ve ever owned. FaceTime is incredible! Everything is fantastic except the reception issues I’ve been having.

My buddy has the same issue and he called AppleCare and was shipped a free bumper case. I called too, 2 hours and 3 dropped calls later, I was told that nobody is getting free bumpers. Which is strange because I saw my friends email confirmation showing he was getting a free one. I tried to get one on launch day but the store was sold out. Is there anything you or one of your executive escalations people can do? I love everything about the phone except my signal issues. I hope to hear back with good news.

Thanks for your time,
Mark

And in return, the guy got a strange reply from Steve Jobs:

There is no reception issue. Stay tuned.

With this statement, seems like Steve Jobs has reverted from what he said earlier and is now declining any claim for iPhone issues. The reception problem has been unofficially fixed by some users but is not very effective.

Apple has though promised a firmware update for iPhone 4 users bounded to resolve this problem. No expected release date so far.
