There are few important things here in this comparison to note. First, that HTC Mobile running on Windows 6.5 has got changeable batteries, unlike iPhone, which means that you have the advantage of carrying couple of extra batteries with you for just in case, because with all the hardware and features embedded in the phone, its no wonder that it’ll require some above average power to function. iPhone 3GS is a total disaster, when it comes to battery life.
The second thing to note is that it has got a multi-touch interface, but Windows Mobile 6.5 natively doesn’t support Multi touch, which means that this area needs some serious attention from the developers. No matter how good your touch screen is, if its not Multi-touch, then its not worth it.
The final thing which is worth noticing is the fact that iPhone platform has got almost four times the application as compared to HTC. Though with the Windows Platform, they can support Multi-tasking and unlike iPhone, but the lack of the option to choose application of your choice would be a seious hurdle. Though Windows platform COULD promise a better future, but up till now, the odds aren’t very impressing.
