How to Watch Apple iPod/Music Event Live Web Stream through Windows/Linux

Don’t know for sure what point Apple wanted to make by making their event coverage Mac exclusive only, but somehow MacRumors has managed to find a way around it and now you can watch the Apple music event 2010 on your windows and Linus OS, not only Mac. Here’s how.

You need VLC media player for this. Google it and download it on your PC or Linux OS. Its a freeware.

When installed, launch this application. Choose Media from the Menu bar and then select Open Network Stream..

Select the tab network and copy this URL into the field:

http://devimages.apple.com/iphone/samples/bipbop/gear1/prog_index.m3u8
