The new firmware update for HTC desire, version 1.15.405.4 is now available for download. The update would be automatically rolled out to the HTC devices, but if you want to perform it manually, then here is what you need to do.

• Go to Menu, then Settings
• Now open About phone and hit System software updates
• Tap on “Check now” button to check for HTC Desire software update.

Once the update is downloaded, your phone will automatically reboot and then you’ll have the new firmware installed on it.
