How to Install Google Voice on iPhone?

Google voice, another service from google to manage your telephone numbers, whether its of office, home or work, You can manage and decide which call to route on which phone by using only one number. More details are available here. The service is currently available by invitation only.

 

Google Voice application was rejected by App store recently, so its developer developer decided to release it through Cydia, which means that to use this application, you must have a Jailbroken iPhone.

The application allows you to check your Voice Mail, send/receive SMS and call your contacts. It will automatically sync with all your contacts on your iPhone address book.

To Install Google Voice using Cydia,  follow these steps:

  • You need a jailbroken iPhone.
  • Launch Cydia and go to search.
  • Type in GV Mobile.
  • Tap the app and tap install on the top right.
  • Your iPhone should reload and you should be able to find the app.

    You must be pretty stupid if you think that GV Mobile is the same thing as the Google Voice App. GV Mobile was an independent app that was pulled from the app store, not the intended Google Voice application that was “rejected” or “placed on hold indefinitely” or “still under scrutiny”…. whatever bullshit story Apple decides to tell today.
