Previously, we posted a video in which Android was shows running successfully on an iPhone 2G. In those days, they had successfully ported Android on iPhone 2G and were working on bringing it to other models of iPhone. Now, we have got reports that they have also successfully ported Android OS to iPhone 3G.

Its similar to what we had before for Android. Dual-boot OS would be installed and you will be asked to choose your OS while starting your iPhone. You can select from iPhone OS and Android, and the selected one will easily be loaded.

This Android on iPhone is not that stable, and you might not want to be addicted to it on your device. Its good fun, but making it a permanent OS for your phone won’t be a good idea. The reason is the bad power management of Android on iPhone which could drain your battery within few hours of usage. This area has yet to be taken care of.

Procedure for installing Android on iPhone is similar to that of installing Android on iPhone 2G. Follow the instructions given there and you will be running Android on your iPhone 3G within no time.
