There are numerous issues that newly jailbroken iPhones, iPods and iPads are facing, after using the JailbreakMe 2.0 aka Star userland jailbreak tool, released recently by the iPhone Dev team, to jailbreak there iDevices, while some like the Facetime and MMS issues were fixed promptly, you might want to see the fix if you were one of the earlier jailbreakers.

Facetime and MMS fix:

Install Base Structure Update from Cydia

• Open Cydia library.
• Go to changes tab and hit refresh.
• There you’ll find an update available for Base Structure.
• Install it.
• Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Voila!

Restore Firmware and re-Jailbreak

• Restore the firmware
• then re-jailbreak iPhone with JailbreakMe 2.0
  NOTE: re-jailbreaking without restoring firmware does NOT fix the FaceTime/MMS.

Stuck at the purple screen:

• Go to: Settings > Safari and clear Browser History, Cookies and Cache.
• Then Reboot your iDevice.

Hanging on slide to unlock:

• Put it in airplane mode then turn it off.

• Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
