Remember that press conference Google had planned for yesterday. Well, as promised the new announcements have been updated on the official Google blog. here is the official line on the new Chrome to Phone feature:

Ever wanted a way to quickly and easily send links and other information from your desktop or laptop to your phone to view on the go? The new Chrome to Phone extension adds a button to your Google Chrome browser that instantly sends the current web page, map, YouTube video, or selected phone number or text to your Android device running Froyo (or Android 2.2).

Apparently all this great feature requires to sync between your Android Phone and your PC is the simple installation of the Chrome extension on  your Google Chrome browser, and the installation of the app on your Android 2.2 phone, and you should be ready to rumble in style.
