Apple is in their final stage of  revealing all new iPhone 5 (along with newly designed Mac probably) to the World on their upcoming media event, which will be held on October 4, 2011. Its expected that Apple will announce new products in their iPhone line which could be iPhone 4S as well, besides the highly anticipated iPhone 5.

Since this event would be all about the new iPhone 5 and its amazing feature, Apple has titled the event “Lets talk about iPhone” and its scheduled to commence at 10 AM PST on 4th of October, 2o11.

According to AllThingsD, CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs might make a surprise entrance to the Apple’s event tomorrow related with the launch of iPad 2. Currently, Steve Jobs is on leave from the company due to illness.

If he did appear, sources said Jobs would at least make a brief appearance onstage, along with other top company execs in showing off Apple’s latest version of it hugely popular tablet.

Apple is expected to release a new iPad tomorrow, probably dubbed as iPad 2. Stay tuned to our blog for more updates.

In a recent video from Engadget, they have spotted a personal “Hot Spot” feature in iOS 4.2.5 on Verizon iPhone 4, which leads to the assumption that the next possible update of iOS (which might be iOS 4.3) will feature the option of “Personal Hotspots”.

So far its not confirmed if this feature is exclusive for Verizon iPhone 4 only or every other 3G and GSM network. Will have to wait for a bit until we hear something official about it.

Sony has hit back hard the whole Jailbreak scenario where developers like George “Geohot” Hotz, the “hacking group” fail0verflow (Hector Cantero, Sven Peter, “Bushing,” and “Segher”), and numerous John / Jane Does were up against exploiting the firmware of Sony Playstation 3.

The company has obtained restraining order against them and might also sue them in near future (A better option would be to hire them, no?). Here are some more details about the story:

To be more specific, the company cites violations of Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, various copyright infringements, and other acts of binary malfeasance. A temporary restraining order has also been sought, asking that all “circumvention tools” be taken offline and his computers and related media (i.e. anything storing said tools) be impounded. It looks like Geohot’s servers are being slammed at the moment, so we’ve gone ahead and hosted the relevant PDFs ourselves below. We’re still sifting through ourselves and will let you know what we unearth.

Kevin Rose – the co-founder of digg recently said on his blog that iPad 2 is expected within 3-4 weeks, the main features that it will be offering are a high resolution display (Not retina, but something better than that) and a front and rare camera.

On his blog he says:

I have it on good authority that Apple will be announcing the iPad 2 in the next “3-4 weeks”, possibly Tuesday February 1st. The iPad 2 will feature a retina display and front/back cameras.

As far as the camera thing is concerned, the leaked physical mock-ups of iPad2 also gave a hint of dual camera. Something better than Retina display is new but no impossible to imagine. Guess we’d have to wait a bit more to find out what Apple has been really up to these days.

On a side note, its not the first time Kevin Rose has come up with some prediction related with Apple. He correctly predicted the Apple TV launch date, iPhod 4G features and copy/paste feature in iOS 3.0.

So all the rumors about Verizon to to join iPhone party very soon and their iPhone 4 support by 2011 seems to have settled already. Now what’s new in this story is that Verizon Wireless has plans to offer unlimited data plans to their iPhone customers. Nice, isn’t it?

This move by Verizon will give them a major advantage over AT&T, since they revert from offering unlimited data plan in June 2010, when iPhone 4 was launch.

Verizon is also expected to remove their “No browsing while calling” policy soon to compete with AT&T. The announcement from Verizon is expected tomorrow, on January 11.
