Apple once again is tickling the suspicion of the tech world today by modifying their website to display a very simple but catchy bulletin. On the Apple website, www.apple.com, today, the homepage says “Tomorrow is just another day. That you will never forget. Check back here tomorrow for an exciting announcement from iTunes”.

An official Apple policy on replacing products with dead LCD pixels was leaked this week. The leaked policy reveals that Apple will replace an iPhone if it has at least one dead pixel on its display, the company will replace an iPad if it has at least three dead pixels.

The Apple engineers are once again hard at work this time on trying to improve on the already impressive graphical user interface of devices running Mac OS X or iOS. The plan is to consolidate toolbars and menus to save screen real estate.

Plans for the next major release of the iPhone, iPhone 5 are already coming out. One of the planned major capabilities will be to be able to use the iPhone 5 as an electronic wallet through what they call NFC, or Near Field Communication.

The latest release of the Apple TV will now support iTunes LP and iTunes Extras formated content. This is according to the latest release from Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs. Unfortunately, there is no specific release date for this yet.

Earlier this week, Yahoo announced that they have plans to update their mobile app for different platforms, including iPhone. Turns out that the update was to include the option of video calling between your Yahoo contacts, and that isn’t limited to WiFi only, you can use 3G network to make video calls.

One on the popular guy among the iPhone dev team – MuscleNerd has managed to jailbreak the Apple TV. In his latest tweet, he says that he is not sure yet on how to run apps on it from the store, but we are pretty sure that soon he will find out!

Leeds University of UK would be issuing iPhone 3GS as an educational tool for the students of Department of Medicine. These phones will be used for assessments and to access course material (iPod touch would have been suffice for that, no?)
