If you’re stuck with a locked phone because you accidentally upgraded to the firmware 3.1.2, then here’s the good news for you. Blacksnow will soon be launching a tool which will unlock the 05.11.07 baseband, enabling you to use any carrier for your iPhone.

The developer behind all this fuss, who goes by the name of GeoHot, uploaded a screenshot in his blog which according to him, is a breakthrough in cracking the 05.11.07 baseband. It can be found here.

Its been also rumored that Blacksn0w will become an integral part of Blackra1n, as it does not support unlocking to the date.
