Apple iPhone OS 4 Beta release: AT&T gains market
Apple has recently released the latest version of its iPhone OS 4 beta i.e. the iPhone OS 4 Beta 4. This beta version of iPhone OS 4 comprises the service of Internet tethering from AT&T.

Internet tethering is considered as being associated specially with mobile devices, when they provide internet access to other mobile devices, unconnected to internet, by interpreting the mobile device as a modem. This method can be adopted by virtue of Bluetooth or cables. The practical application of Internet tethering was introduced in the Apple release of iPhone OS 3, last year.
At that time only some of the international carriers supported it, while AT&T was uncomfortable in providing the service of Internet Tethering due to its problems in dealing with the wireless traffic. After making their weaknesses into strength, AT&T is now ready to provide its much awaiting customers with the service of Internet tethering. The Apple iPhone OS 4 Beta 4 provides users with choice to benefit from Internet tethering via phone or web.
The facility of Internet Tethering has been implemented by AT&T after a long time, but has provided it a platform to maintain their market and, also lead Apple, to become one of the first few companies to take the initiative of bringing in this new feature in their new sets.
