Apple iPad to be Sold at Best Buy Outlets

The Apple iPad will now be available for sale in “Assisted Sales Location” areas, and you’ll be able to purchase one from those outlets, which means that you don’t have to necessarily be at an Apple outlet to purchase an iPad. Apple COO Tim Cook said that “The iPad will launch in retail, online education and other direct sales from Apple, but will also include the company’s assisted sales from partners like Best Buy.”

“Initially it will be around places with really great assisted sales,” Cook said. “Over time it will expand.”

Apple’s COO, Tim Cooked also told people some things about the new Apple iPad and said, “The experience is just absolutely incredible And so we’re obviously very excited about this thing and can’t wait to start shipping it.” He also said that after experiencing what Apple iPad can do, consumers are going to have a hard time buying other netbooks.

“It’s an incredible value at $499,” he said. “It’s an amazing experience you can have.”
