Apple announces free bumpers for all iPhone 4 users
Believe it folks, Apple is now going to provide all iPhone 4 customers(yes all of them!) with a free set of iPhone bumpers(previously sold for $29 online and in any Apple store near you).

This announcement came at a major press conference held by Apple in San Francisco, and it was none other than Steve Jobs himself who got on the stage for a spot of brand management. In the conference, Steve admitted straight off that the phone was giving problems to some users’, that Apple weren’t prefect(that must have taken something out of Steve’s Reality Distortion Field) and no phone can be perfect, because the industry isn’t perfect. Many people were anticipating a recall, which would have cost the company about $1.5 billion. The company will also be accepting returns for full refunds and will waive the restocking fee.
The conference sounded like a bit of a mea culpa from the Apple headman. But we are happy to report atleast that the solution that Apple warned its own staff from using(giving away of free bumpers) is now the recommended solution.
Good to know that Apple can swallow the magnanimity pill once in a while, i’ve heard its good for a bloated ego. Well done, Steve and Co.
