After the much publicized Netflix apps for the iPad, and the upcoming iPhone app from Netflix, it was only a matter of time before the Android users got their wish, and CEO Reed Hastings has now unveiled plans to launch an Android app for the platform.

The Netflix app should support TV and movies right on your mobile device from your own Netflix account, plus some other iPhone app-like enhancements might spice up the experience.
